Check:
- drive shaft seals
- for oil leakage from the bleed nipple hole. Check and adjust the oil level. Test drive and check again.
If there is any oil at the inspection hole by the viscous coupling, the pinion seal must be replaced.
Remedy by replacing the faulty seal or similar.
If there is oil leakage from the bleed hole:
Remove the level plug and top up with oil, P/N 116 1329. Fill until oil escapes from the level plug hole.
Then drain 0.25 l of oil. Install the level plug.
If the oil level has been adjusted and the fault persists, remedy by replacing the final drive.
