Printed circuit board gear selector assembly/top panel, replacing

Removal

Removing the gear selector knob
Remove the gear selector knob. See: Gear selector knob, replacing Gear Selector Knob, Replacing.

Removing the center console
Remove center console. See: Center console, replacing Center Console, Replacing.

Removing the top panel from the gear selector assembly





Remove:
- the wiring from the clips at the gear selector assembly
- the connectors from the gear selector assembly. Separate the connectors
- the top panel with the boot from the gear selector assembly.

Removing the gear selector boot from the top panel




Remove the boot holder from the top panel.
Replace the top panel and printed circuit board.
Transfer the boot to the new top panel.

Installation

Installing the gear selector boot on the top panel




Install the boot on the top panel.

Installing the top panel on the gear selector assembly




Install the top panel and boot on the gear selector assembly.
Connect the connectors to the gear selector assembly switches.

Installing the gear selector knob

Installing the center console
Install the center console. See: Center console, replacing Center Console, Replacing.
