Removing pulley




- Remove power steering pump according to Power steering pump, replacing, B5254T2 .
- Secure power steering pump in a vise.
- Remove the pulley. Use puller 999 5737 Puller 999 5737 Puller.

Installing pulley, alternative 1





Install the pulley. Lubricate pump shaft with oil
Use press tool 999 5738 Press tool 999 5738 Press Tool.
- Counterhold with B.
- Tighten with A.

Installing pulley, alternative 2




- Install the screw on the pump shaft.

Note! Use a screw with the correct thread (M8x75mm (M8x2.95 in)).

- Install special tool 999 5628 Press tool 999 5628 Press Tool on the compression tool 999 5575 PULLER CYLINDER USED WITH HYDRAULIC PUMP -5576 999 5575 Puller Cylinder Used With Hydraulic Pump -5576.
- Lubricate the pump shaft and install the pulley.
- Install tool 999 5628
on the pulley.
- Hook on tool 999 5628 Press tool 999 5628 Press Tool on the pump shaft screw.




- Press in the pulley to the listed measurement.
- Install power steering pump according to Power steering pump, replacing, B5254T2 .
