Cigarette lighter / electrical socket, front, replacing

Removal

Cigarette lighter and electrical socket




- Ignition off
- Remove the dashboard environment panel / electronic climate control module. See Dashboard environment panel (including climate control module (CCM)), replacing Dashboard Environment Panel (including Climate Control Module (CCM)), Replacing
- Remove the cigarette lighter socket
- Disconnect the connectors from the dashboard environment panel / electronic climate control (ECC) control module
- Tension the lower catch using a small screwdriver. Press out the lighter sleeve so that the catch releases. Maintain the pressure so that the lighter sleeve does not jump back in.
- Tension the upper catch. Press out the lighter sleeve.

Installation

In reverse order.
