Rear seat entertainment module (RSE), replacing

Removing the insert from the center tunnel console





Remove:
- the cover over the 12 volt socket on the rear edge of the center console. Insert a weatherstrip knife in the lower edge and pry off
- the 2 screws and the panel for the 12 volt socket
- the screw holding the insert at the rear edge.




Fold up the armrest on the center console.
Remove the screw holding the insert at the bottom.
Pull the insert straight up.

Removing the Rear Seat Entertainment Module (RSE)




Lift up the control module. Disconnect the four connectors.
Remove the control module.

Installing the Rear Seat Entertainment Module (RSE)




Connect the four connectors.
Position the control module in the center console.

Installing the insert in the center tunnel console




Press the insert into position in the center console.

Note! Do not damage the cable harness for the DVD player.

Install:
- the screw in the bottom of the insert.





Install:
- the screws holding the insert at the rear edge
- the panel for the 12 volt socket and its 2 screws
- the cover over the 12 volt socket.
Fold down the armrest on the center console.
