Note! This accessory is connected to the electrical system of the car. It requires software unique to the car.
Note! The fuse and relay for the fog lamps are pre-installed on model year 2005-cars. Skip to point 6-8.
Carry out the following points for the left and right-hand fog lamps
- Raise the car
- Remove the cover (1) by releasing the plastic catch (2) and pressing it together according to A-A. Pull the cover forward.
- Remove the screws (1). Slacken off the air baffle (2)
- Release the catches (3). Pull the air baffle backwards
- Remove the air baffle.
- Disconnect the existing connector (1) for the fog lamp
- Install the spring nuts (2) in the holes.
- Install the fog lamp using the screws (1) from the kit
- Connect the connector (2) to the fog lamp.
- Reinstall the air baffle
- Lower the car.
Applies to cars up to and including model year -2004
- Remove the cover (1) for the fuse holder
- Install a 15 A fuse:
- in position 3 for cars up to and including model year -2000
- in position 18 for cars up to and including model year 2001 -2004.
- Reinstall the cover.
Applies to cars up to and including model year -2004
- Move the left front seat to its rearmost position
- Remove the side panel (1). First slacken off the screw clip in the rear edge of the panel
- Remove the soundproofing panel (2). Carefully pry it loose. Use a weatherstrip tool or similar. The soundproofing panel is secured using three clips (3).
Applies to cars up to and including model year -2004
- Install the relay (1) from the kit in the relay holder socket marked MI11
- Reinstall the soundproofing panel and the side panel.

- Remove the cover (1) from the lighting control panel
- Install the light bulb (2)
- Install the button (3) from the kit. Press the button into place
- Program the software. See the service information in VIDA
- Check the function. Align the lamps.
