Bulb tail lamp/stop lamp/back-up lamp/fog lamp, replacing
Removal
Note! As the illustrations in this service information are used for different model years and / or models, some variation may occur. However, the essential information in the illustrations is always correct.
Preparations
Switch off the ignition.
Open the catch for the side panel and fold down.
Removing bulbs
Press the spring clip on the lamp holder. Angle out and remove the lamp holder.
Remove the bulb.
For the location of lamps in the tail lamp, see the illustration.
1. Tail lamp/rear fog lamp
2. Back-up (reversing) lamps
3. Turn signal lamps
4. The diode card for the stop lamp. To replace, see the tail lamp assembly
5. Side marker lamps.
Note! There is only a fog tail lamp bulb in one of the tail lamps. In the left tail lamp on left-hand drive cars and in the right on right-hand drive cars.
Tail lamp assembly
Disconnect the connectors.
Remove the tail lamp nuts (4).
Remove the tail lamp.
The diode card for the stop lamp
Disconnect the connector.
Remove:
- the 4 screws
- the plastic cover
- the diode card.
