Checking lamps and needles

Activating lamps




- Ignition on
- Activate the system test procedures. Check whether the relevant needle or lamp operates correctly.
All needles must move from min to max and back again.
The lamps must flash (not the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) or turn signal indicator lamps).
The light level in the instrumentation is also checked.
All parts of the instrumentation flash.
Remedy as necessary.
