General
Approximately 50 % of the components in the 5 cylinder engine are new. These modifications result in reduced fuel consumption, increased performance and approximately a 7-8% reduction in CO2 emissions. The S80 fulfills the requirement for emissions according to TLEV.
Several components are common to both the B5204HT and B5204LT.
- CVVT on the exhaust side camshaft.
- The oil pan has an integrated oil cooler and an environmentally friendly oil cooler.
- Electronically controlled throttle body (TB).
- Engine management system, ME 7.0
- 0 -100 Km/h (0 - 62 mph): 8.3 seconds.
