Note! Avoid touching visible components or components that come into contact with windows with lubricant

Installing the weatherstrips, windows
Lubricate the outside of the parts of the strip that lower into the door. Use soap for example.
Install the weather strip at the rear rail. Feed the strip down into the door. Check that the rear upper corner of the strip aligns in the rear upper corner of the window without having to stretch or press the strip together.
Continue to apply the weatherstrip to the window frame up to the front rail.
Install the weatherstrip in the front rail and then at the front corner.
The same procedure applies to both the front and rear corners.
Check that the side window can raised and lowered without resistance.





Install:
- the outer weatherstrip according to Weatherstrips and trim strips Weatherstrips and Trim Strips illustration 1
- the weatherstrip, front side door according to Weatherstrip Weatherstrip.
Raise the window fully
- the front door panel and the door mirror assembly. See Rearview mirror, replacing Rear View Mirror, Replacing.

Check the following:
- the power window mechanism
- the adjustment of the door mirror
- the operation of the lock.
