Side panel front seat, replacing

Method content

This method consists of:
- replacing
- mechanical front seat, replacing.

Side panel power front seat, replacing

Removing the side panel power front seat





Remove:
- the battery negative lead. See: Battery, disconnecting Battery Disconnecting
- the screw at the front edge of the side panel.
Pull the side panel up to detach it from the seat. First pull up the front edge of the side panel. Then pull up the rear edge of the side panel.

Remove:
- the 3 tie straps
- the connector under the seat cushion
- the 3 screws. Remove the control panel from the side panel.

Installing the side panel, power front seat

Install:
- the control panel using the 3 screws. Tighten
- the connector under the seat cushion
- the 3 tie straps.
Press the side panel into place on the seat.

Install:
- the screw at the front edge of the side panel. Tighten
- the battery lead. See: Battery, disconnecting Battery Disconnecting.

Hint: Pump up the seat cushion to the highest position.

Remove the screw at the front edge of the side panel.

Hint: Lift up the side panel at the front edge to access the screw for the handle.

Remove the screw for the handle. Pull the handle off.
Pull the side panel up to detach it from the seat. First pull up the front edge of the side panel. Then pull up the rear edge of the side panel.

Installing the side panel, mechanical front seat




Thread the side panel on the rail (1) for the handle.
Install the handle using 1 screw. Tighten.
Press the side panel into place.
Install the screw at the front edge of the side panel. Tighten.
Lower the seat cushion.
