Remove:
- turn signal lamp. See Turn signal lamps, replacing Service and Repair
- the headlamps. See Headlamps
- the front section. See Front end Service and Repair
- the air cleaner (ACL) housing. See Brake pipe master cylinder / ABS unit, replacing Brake Pipe Master Cylinder / ABS Unit, Replacing (removal), or Brake pipe master cylinder / ABS unit, replacing Brake Pipe Master Cylinder / ABS Unit, Replacing (installation)
- the soundproofing panel. See Soundproofing panel, replacing Soundproofing Panel, Replacing.




- the mechanical cable from the locks.
- the cable from the hood catch control. See Mechanism, hood release, replacing Mechanism, Hood Release, Replacing.

Hint: Fasten the new cable to the old cable in the passenger compartment.
Feed and pull the new cable to the correct position.

Install:
In reverse order.
