Signal Too Low. Intermittent Fault
Signal too low. Intermittent fault
Intermittent fault
Check control module and transmission connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults
Check the wiring between control module terminal A52 and transmission connector terminal C (#A3). Check the wiring between control module terminal A70 (#B10) and transmission connector terminal D (#A4) for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Hint: With the ignition off, the transmission connector disconnected, and the breakout box connected, the resistance between terminals 3 and 4 should be approximately 3.5 ohms.
Remedy as necessary.
