Checking components and wiring
Check the resistance of the outside temperature sensor.
Check the signal cable between control module terminal #B29 (#B39) and outside temperature sensor terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Hint: With the ignition on and the outside temperature sensor connector disconnected, the voltage between #2 and the ground terminal must be approximately 5V.
Remedy as necessary.
