Spoiler, front, replacement

Removal

Removing the front spoiler





Remove:
- the clips, x2, in the bottom edges of the end faces




- the bolts, x2, in the front edge/bottom edge.
- the spring nuts, x2




Pull away the spoiler's end faces.




Pull the spoiler away at the front edge.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see applicable specifications.

Installing the front spoiler

Caution! Clean the surfaces on the bumper cover where the new spoiler shall be fitted, otherwise there is a risk of paintwork damage.





Install:
- the spoiler at the front edge. Press in the catches
- both end faces of the spoiler. Press in the catches.




Bend up the flexible brackets at the front edge/bottom edge of the spoiler.
Fit the new spring nuts, x2.
Fit the bolts, M5 x2, through the brackets in the drilled holes. Tighten.

Note! If the vehicle was not previously fitted with a spoiler then these holes must be drilled with a 5 - mm bit. Use the bracket holes as templates.




Fit the clips, x2, in the bottom edges of the end faces.
