Signal Description, Phone Module (PHM)

Connecting the breakout box and checking the ground terminal

NOTE: It is important to connect the breakout box and check ground terminals before taking readings.

Definitions
DC = voltage in volts (V)
Ulow = Voltage near 0 V
Ubat = Battery voltage

Connector A, carphone module (PHM)










Connector B, hands-free speaker connector on the carphone module (PHM)










Connector C, hands-free microphone connector in the A-post

Connector for cars manufactured up to week 34, 2001 inclusive










Connector for cars manufactured from week 35, 2001 inclusive

Connector E, GPS/carphone antenna, double Hirose GT5 in the right A-post










Connector F, carphone antenna (brown connector), single Hirose GT5
