Check the function of the rheostat in the audio unit by increasing and lowering the instrument lighting.

Hint: If the rheostat function is not working in the audio unit either, the fault is in the road traffic information (RTI) control module.

Try a new road traffic information (RTI) control module.

Caution! A new RTI control module is delivered without software. The RTI control module must be programmed in order to function after replacement.
