Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition




The control modules in the car continually transmit and receive information over the CAN (Controller Area Network) data network. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-E003 is stored if the Suspension Module (SUM) registers that the network configuration ID is incorrect.

Note! The test is carried out every other operating cycle. The Suspension module (SUM) defines an operating cycle as ignition on and ignition off.

Substitute value
- Four-C control is blocked.

Possible source
- Fault in the signal database between the Suspension Module (SUM) and the Central Electronic Module (CEM).

- General warning lamp lit
- Message in the display
- Four-C does not work.
