Signal too high

Checking components and wiring




- Ignition off.
Check the connectors for the Suspension Module (SUM) and the acceleration sensor. Check for oxidation.

For diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0172, COMFORT indication:
- Check the power supply cable between control module terminal #A26 and keypad terminal #2. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage
- Check the ground lead between control module terminal #A21 and keypad terminal #6. Check for an open-circuit.

For diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0182, SPORT indication:
- Check the power supply cable between control module terminal #A11 and keypad terminal #3. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage
- Check the ground lead between control module terminal #A21 and keypad terminal #6. Check for an open-circuit.

For diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0192, ADVANCED indication:
- Check the power supply cable between control module terminal #A29 and keypad terminal #4. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage
- Check the ground lead between control module terminal #A21 and keypad terminal #6. Check for an open-circuit.
Try a new acceleration sensor if no fault is found in the wiring.
Remedy as necessary.
