Signal Too Low
Signal too low
Checking the component and wiring
- Ignition off.
Check the connectors for the Suspension Module (SUM) and the solenoids. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
Check that the solenoids on the spring struts are correctly installed.
For diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0111, front left solenoid:
- Check the power supply cable between control module terminal #A6 and solenoid connector terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
For diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0121, front right solenoid:
- Check the power supply cable between control module terminal #A9 and solenoid connector terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
For diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0131, rear left solenoid:
- Check the power supply cable between control module terminal #A2 and solenoid connector terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
For diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0141, rear right solenoid:
- Check the power supply cable between control module terminal #A5 and solenoid connector terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Check the resistance of the solenoids.
Remedy as necessary.
