Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition




The position sensor for the left rear suspension is powered from the Suspension Module (SUM). Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0092 is stored if the control module detects that the power supply to the sensor is too low. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.
- SUM-0092: Position sensor for the rear suspension.

Note! The test is carried out every other operating cycle. The Suspension module (SUM) defines an operating cycle as ignition on and ignition off.

Substitute value
- Four-C control is switched off.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the power supply to the sensor
- Open-circuit in the signal cable from the sensor
- Defective position sensor
- Defective control module.
