Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition




The Suspension Module (SUM) receives information about the vertical movement of the car body from three acceleration sensors mounted at the corners of the car body. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0052, SUM-0062 or SUM-0072 is stored if the control module registers that the signal from one of the acceleration sensors is too high when the ignition is switched on.
- SUM-0052: Left front bodywork acceleration sensor
- SUM-0062: Right front bodywork acceleration sensor
- SUM-0072: Left rear bodywork acceleration sensor.

Note! The test is carried out every other operating cycle. The Suspension module (SUM) defines an operating cycle as ignition on and ignition off.

Substitute value
- Four-C control is switched off.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable
- Defective acceleration sensor.
