Condition
The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the activation signal to the passenger airbag.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers a fault in the activation signal.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II and III.

Substitute value
- Passenger airbag is deactivated.

Possible source
- The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) identifies that the passenger airbag cannot be activated.

- SRS indicator lamp lit
- PAD lamp lit.
