Condition




The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the switch for the passenger airbag.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers a faulty status signal.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II and III.

Substitute value
- Passenger airbag is deactivated.

Possible source
- Fault in the switch for the passenger airbag
- Internal fault in the supplemental restraint system module (SRS).

Fault symptom[s]
- The SRS indicator lamp is lit
- PAD lamp lit.
