Condition




The Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) checks the signal from the front right front impact sensor.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00212 is stored if the control module registers an incorrect identification of signal in the signal cable for longer than 10 seconds.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-0212 can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

- Faulty front impact sensor installed in the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS)
- The signal between the front impact sensor and the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) has been affected by electrical interference. This causes the front impact sensor to respond with an incorrect identification signal.

- The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
