Condition
The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks messages regarding vehicle configuration on the CAN network between the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) and the central electronic module (CEM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) registers that the signal on the CAN network is missing for longer than 21 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched from position 0 to positions I, II or III.
