Condition




The Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) checks the signal from the inflatable curtain.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00AD is stored if the control module registers that the resistance in the signal cable is too low for longer than 10 seconds.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00AD can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit in SRS ignition cable or in the connectors between the inflatable curtain and control module
- Short-circuit in the inflatable curtain (resistance too low in igniter).

Fault symptom[s]
- The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
