Condition




The Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) checks the signal from the inflatable curtain.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00AC is stored if the control module registers that the resistance in the signal cable is too high for longer than 10 seconds.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00AC can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

Possible source
- Contact resistance or an open-circuit in the signal cable between the inflatable curtain and the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS)
- Open-circuit in the inflatable curtain (resistance too high in igniter).

Fault symptom[s]
- The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
