Condition




The Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) checks the signal from the inflatable curtain.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00A1 is stored if the control module registers that the voltage in the signal cable is too low for longer than 10 seconds.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00A1 can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the SRS ignition cable or in the connector between the inflatable curtain and the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS)
- Short-circuit to ground in the inflatable curtain.

Fault symptom[s]
- The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
