Condition




The Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) checks the signal from the seat belt tensioner.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-009D is stored if the control module registers that the resistance in the signal cable is too low for longer than 10 seconds.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-009D can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

- Short-circuit in connector
- Short-circuit in the signal cable between the seat belt tensioner and the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS)
- Short-circuit in seat belt tensioner (resistance too low in igniter).
