Signal too high

Checking the wiring








- Ignition off
- Disconnect connectors A and F on the rear electronic module (REM).
Check the signal cable. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
For the S80 and S60
Take readings between:
- Rear electronic module (REM) terminal #A6 (#6) and terminal #1 on the connector for the high level stop lamp.
For the V70, XC70 and XC90
Take readings between:
- Rear electronic module (REM) terminal #F4 (#44) and terminal #1 on the connector for the high level stop lamp.
Remedy as necessary.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.








- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Activate the stop lamp.
Check that the stop lamp is activated.

Is the stop lamp activated?

Yes - VERIFIED

No - VERIFICATION FAILED
