Checking the wiring








- Ignition off
- Disconnect connector F on the rear electronic module (REM).
Check the signal cable. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
For the S80 and S60
Take readings between:
- Rear electronic module (REM) terminal #F10 (#50) and terminal #2 on the connector for the license plate lighting.
For the V70 and XC90
Take readings between:
- Rear electronic module (REM) terminal #F10 (#50) and terminal #1 on the connector for the license plate lighting.
Remedy as necessary.
