Condition




The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the climate control module (CCM) registers that the signal from the fan knob exceeds 99%, or is less than 1% of supply voltage (approximately 5 V).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I and II.

Substitute value
- The climate control module (CCM) adopts a value corresponding to half of the maximum fan knob output.

Possible source
- Defective potentiometer
- Short-circuit to supply voltage or ground in the potentiometer.

Fault symptom[s]
- The blower fan only runs at one speed.
