Condition




The transmission has an integrated function which when stationary, with the engine idling, the brake pedal depressed and gears D, 4, 3 or L engaged, disengages the drive section of the transmission. The function decreases fuel consumption and vibration from the transmission when running the engine at idle speed.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the transmission control module (TCM) registers that a clutch (C1) disengages incorrectly.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed during normal driving in gear positions D, 4, 3, 2 and with an oil temperature in the transmission of above 10 °C.

Substitute value
- Blocking adaptation
- Blocking of neutral check.

Possible source
- Shift solenoid S1 has jammed in the OFF position
- Shift solenoid S2 has jammed in the ON position
- Solenoid SLT has jammed in the OFF position
- Internal fault in the transmission
- The transmission control module (TCM) is not functioning.

- General warning lamp lit
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
