Condition




Motor 3 controls the height adjustment of the seat. Motor 3 must be activated before the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be detected.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if no hall sensor pulse is detected when the motor is activated and in operation.

Possible source
- Damaged hall sensor in motor 3
- Short-circuit to supply voltage or ground in the signal cable
- Open-circuit in the signal cable to the Hall sensor.

Fault symptom[s]
- Automatic seat operation does not function. Other motors can be operated as normal.
