Vehicle Communication Information, Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS)

Description Of Parameters

Parameters, status

Seat belt buckle, driver's side

The parameter indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) recognizes whether the driver's seat belt buckle is engaged or not.
Locked = the driver's seat belt buckle is engaged.
Not engaged = the driver's seat belt buckle is not engaged.

Passenger seat belt buckle

The parameter indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) recognizes whether the front passenger seat belt buckle is engaged or not.
Engaged = the passenger seat belt buckle is engaged.
Not engaged = the passenger seat belt buckle is not engaged.

Passenger airbag, status

The parameter indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) has activated or deactivated the passenger airbag.
Enabled = the passenger airbag is enabled. The airbag will deploy in the event of a collision of sufficient force.
Disabled = the passenger airbag is not enabled. The airbag will not deploy in the event of a collision.

Passenger airbag, switch (only vehicles equipped with a switch for a passenger airbag)

The parameter indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) receives a signal from the switch with a request to activate or deactivate the passenger airbag.
Enabled = the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) receives a signal from the switch requesting that the passenger airbag be enabled.
Disabled = the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) receives a signal from the switch requesting that the passenger airbag not be enabled.

Passenger airbag, occupant weight sensor (OWS) (only vehicles equipped with an occupant weight sensor (OWS))

The parameter indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) receives a signal from the occupant weight sensor (OWS) with a request to activate or deactivate the passenger airbag.
Enabled = the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) receives a signal from the occupant weight sensor (OWS) requesting that the passenger airbag be enabled.
Disabled = the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) receives a signal from the occupant weight sensor (OWS) requesting that the passenger airbag not be enabled.

PAD lamp

The parameter indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) transmits a request for the passenger airbag disconnected (PAD) lamp to be lit or not.
OFF = the PAD-lamp must not be lit.
ON = the PAD-lamp should be lit.

Parameters, value

Battery voltage, SRS

Measurement range 0-20 V.
The normal value is 13.5-14.9 V when the generator (GEN) is charging. The value indicates the voltage at the supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
