Solenoid gear selector assembly, replacing

Preparatory work
Removing the center console
Remove center console. See: Center console, replacing.

Removal
Removing solenoid gear selector assembly





Disconnect the connector for the solenoid.





Turn the solenoid counter-clockwise. Remove the solenoid.

Installation
Installing the solenoid gear selector assembly





Install and lock the solenoid by turning clockwise.





Connect the connector to the solenoid.

Finishing
Installing the center console
Install the center console. See: Center console, replacing

Final check
Check the function of the back-up inhibitor.
