DESCRIPTION:





A new wheel nut with a higher final torque value was introduced in production week 2009w51 (type 2 in the attachment). Due to this the stage 2 value in the service procedure in VIDA is incorrect.

PRODUCT MODIFICATION:

The updated service procedure will be included in VIDA 2010B.

SERVICE:

When tightening the wheel nuts the following final torque values must be applied depending on nut type on the concerned car (see attachment for reference). Please note that these are the stage 2 values in the sequence tightening.

Wheel nut type 1 - 110 Nm (81.1 lbf-ft)
Wheel nut type 2 - 130 Nm (96 lbf-ft)
