Preparatory work

Ignition off





Ignition off.

Lifting points
This work requires that the vehicle be raised.

Turn the wheels fully to the right.

Remove the plastic nut securing the fender liner. Fold out the fender liner.

Removal

Removing the position sensor
Remove the position sensor from the bracket.

Remove:





- the M6 screw (1)
- the 2 screws (2)
- the connector.

Installation

Installing the position sensor

Install:
- the connector
- the 2 screws (2)
- the M6 screw (1)
- the fender liner
- the plastic nut.

Finishing

Calibration of position sensor

NOTE: The position sensor must be calibrated after replacement.

Calibrate the position sensor according to VIDA, Vehicle communication, function group 3, Electrical system, Central electronic module (CEM).
