Preparatory work

Remove center console. Floor Console
Remove the nut for the cable on the parking brake lever.

Removal

Removing the heat deflector plate





Remove:
- the screw to the mounting for the exhaust system
- the 6 x plastic nuts
Detach the front heat deflector plate from the studs and pull it down towards the exhaust system, sliding it forward slightly.




Detach the rear heat deflector plate from the studs and slide it over the front plate to access the cables.

Removing the brake cable





Remove:
- the cable from the power distributor
- the cable from the lever
- the cable.

Installation

Installing the brake cable





Install:
- the cable
- the cable in the power distributor
- the cable in the lever.

Installing the heat deflector plate





Install:
- the heat deflector plates
- the 6 x plastic nuts.
- the screw to the mounting for the exhaust system.

Finishing

Adjust the parking brake. Adjustments
Install the center console. Floor Console
