Method content

This method consists of:
- front height adjustment, replacing
- rear height adjustment, replacing
- front/rear adjustment, replacing

Electric motor, front height adjustment, replacing

Removing the electric motor for front height adjustment





Remove:
- the front seat as described in Front seat Front Seat
- the 2 M6 screws (1)
- the M8 screw (2).




Remove the connector by moving it to the side.

Installing the electric motor for front height adjustment

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. [1][2]Body and Frame.

Install:
- the connector
- the electric motor
- the 2 M6 screws
- the M8 screw.
- the front seat as described in Front seat Front Seat.

Electric motor, rear height adjustment, replacing

Removing the electric motor for rear height adjustment




Adjust the seat to its topmost position.

Remove:
- the side panel as described in Side panel front seat Side Panel Front Seat
- the cable tie (2)
- the 3 x screws (1)




- the 1 M6 screw
- the electric motor




Remove the connector by moving it to the side.

Installing the electric motor for rear height adjustment

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. [1][2]Body and Frame.

Install:
- the connector
- the electric motor
- the 3 M6 screws
- the 1 M6 screw
- the cable tie
- the side panel as described in Side panel front seat Side Panel Front Seat.

Removing the electric motor for front/rear adjustment





Remove:
- the front seat as described in Front seat Front Seat
- the 2 M5 screws
- the electric motor and cables.




Remove the connector by moving it straight back.

Installing the electric motor for front/rear adjustment

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. [1][2]Body and Frame.





Hint: If the distance between the two rails differs, fasten the short cable in an electric screwdriver and screw until the rails align.

Install:
- the connector
- the electric motor and cables
- the 2 M5 screws
- the front seat as described in Front seat Front Seat.
