Preparatory work

Remove the seat cushion See: Seat cushion, rear seat Seat Cushion, Rear Seat.

Relieving oil pressure

Relieve the oil pressure in the hydraulic system by pulling the wire.

Warning! Unless otherwise specified in the procedure, the roof must be closed when relieving the oil pressure so that the roof does not collapse.

Note! If the oil pressure is not relieved properly after pulling the wire, the valve on the hydraulic pump can be directly affected instead.

Raise and fold the front edge of the cargo compartment carpet to one side.

Ensure that the lever is in its outermost position (1).
Carefully pry up the valve using a screwdriver (2).

Resetting the oil pressure

Depress the valve (1) at the bottom.
Lock the valve using the lever. See: (2).

Finishing

Install the seat cushion. See: Seat cushion, rear seat Seat Cushion, Rear Seat.
