Connecting the breakout box
- Ignition off
- Expose the multimedia module (MMM).





Connect adapter 951 2882 to the control module connector (wiring side). Connect breakout box 951 1428 to the adapter. Multimedia module (MMM) terminals #B1-#B10 correspond to terminals #1-#10 on the breakout box. Connect adapter 951 1508 to the control module connector (wiring side). Connect breakout box 951 1428 to the adapter. Multimedia module (MMM) terminals #A1-#A5 correspond to terminals #21 - #25 on the breakout box.

The breakout box is designed to facilitate reading off the control module input and output signals when the control module is connected and cable and component resistance when the control module is disconnected. The use of a breakout box reduces the risk of accidental short-circuited cables and damage to the connector pins.

Disconnecting breakout box
In reverse order.

NOTE: Before the control module can be checked and readings taken, the removed fuses must first be installed.
