Condition




The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the signal on the cable from the combustion fan is too low. The heater cannot be activated until the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) has been erased.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the heater is activated.

- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the cable between the combustion preheater module (CPM) and the combustion fan
- The fan wheel for the combustion fan has jammed. May be due to freezing or dirt.

Fault symptom[s]
- Poor heating in the passenger compartment
- The parking heater does not operate.
