Checking the wiring








- Ignition off.
Check the power supply cable. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Take readings between:
- Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #H20 (#34) and LED for lock indication.
Remedy as necessary.

Verification

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.








- Ignition off.
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Use the remote control to activate locking and unlocking of the vehicle.
The LEDs must light for 5 minutes when the central locking locked via the remote control.
The LEDs must go out when the central locking is unlocked via the remote control.

Is the function OK?

Yes - Troubleshooting procedure complete
