Condition
Total mileage is saved in both the central electronic module (CEM) and the driver information module (DIM). When changing from key position I to key position II, information about the present mileage is transmitted between the driver information module (DIM) and the central electronic module (CEM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that information about mileage is missing from the driver information module (DIM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when changing from key position I to key position II after one minute.
