Evaporator Drain Tube: Service and Repair

Drain hose engine / filter housing, replacing

Removing the drain hose from the engine / filter housing





Remove:
- the soundproofing panel on the passenger side. See Soundproofing panel, replacing Soundproofing Panel, Replacing
- the floor grommet
- the hoses from the blower fan motor cover.

Installing the drain hose on the engine / filter housing

Press into place:
- the floor grommet
- the drain hose on the blower fan motor.
The drainage hose is marked by a colored stripe. When installing the marking must be aligned on the blower fan motor cover as illustrated. This is to avoid twisting the hose.
Reinstall the floor carpet.
