Seal, drive shaft, replacing
Special tools: 999 1801, 999 5541

Remove the drive shaft seal





Use a jimmy bar with a flat surface. Turn the flat surface towards the transmission housing.

Install the drive shaft seal

Note: Clean thoroughly before installing the new seal





Apply a small amount of grease to the sealing lip. Use drift 999 5541 and shaft 999 1801 - Place the side of the drift marked M56 against the drive shaft seal.

Install the drive shaft in the transmission
