Configuring the number of seats




- Switch on the ignition. Wait 20 seconds.
Read off the "seat configuration" parameter from the central electronic module (CEM) and the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.
If the parameter value that is displayed in the two columns is not the same on the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) as for the central electronic module (CEM). The "seat configuration" parameter value on the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) must be reprogrammed.
If the value is not the same in the central electronic module (CEM) as in the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS), carry out the following:
- If the central electronic module (CEM) shows 7 seats, press the button with the figure 7
- If the central electronic module (CEM) shows 5 seats, press the button with the figure 5.
this reprograms the "seat configuration" parameter value to the same number of seats as entered in the central electronic module (CEM)
