Reading and erasing diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)

If the GPS unit or TMC receiver are installed as accessories, a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) will be stored for a configuration error. This is because the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is registered before the vehicle configuration file has been updated with the new data.

Note! These diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) must be erased before the unit will work.

Reading and erasing diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
- Ignition on.
Read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.
If any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) other than ATM-0002 or ATM-0004 are stored, make a note of these and then follow the normal fault-tracing procedures.
Erase the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
